The adoption process includes:

  1. An adoption application -- We believe you are selecting your next family member when you adopt a pet. Since people don't usually get to select their family members, we think you're pretty lucky to be able to choose one that will best fit into your home. By asking questions about your home and yard, the ages and activity level of your family members, and your desired features in a pet, we can help match a pet who will become your perfect next forever family member! Click here to download an adoption application.
  2. Reference/Information checks -- Once we receive your adoption application, we'll make a few quick phone calls to the personal, veterinary, and landlord (if applicable) references that you provided. Again, this is for the benefit of your future pet AND for you!
  3. Finalizing the adoption -- Once the application is processed, we'll help you select the perfect pet for your household and go over some information about what to expect and the resources that will be available for you after you get home. You'll pay the appropriate adoption fee, sign an adoption contract, and head home with your newest family member and some supplies to help get you all settled.
